BACKGROUND

In 2018, Jaguar launched its first fully-electric vehicle, the I-Pace. My team was brought in to help with developing strategy and producing content to support the launch of the vehicle in key geographical areas. The first location was San Francisco.

GOAL

The goal was to create an eye-catching event in San Francisco that could be captured and used to promote the launch of the I-Pace. Visuals from the event would be used to support regional events and additional marketing campaigns following the event.

SOLUTION

We developed a convoy experience that had ten of the new I-Pace vehicles drive through some of the most popular areas of San Francisco. Utilizing a police escort, we passed iconic landmarks and some of the most densely populated areas. Each vehicle was wrapped with custom branding to promote the launch of the vehicle. The convoy took place during the Global Climate Action Summit.

We organized additional shoots over three days, which produced additional footage and photos of the vehicles in iconic San Francisco locations.
